DSV Steers Clear of Trouble at Multimodal

Print article Print article
2014-04-02 19:30:38 - Breakdowns and just in time spare parts need not cause any issues for the automotive trade according to a new free white paper from DSV.

DSV manages supply chains in the automotive industry for some of the world’s leading car manufacturers and spare parts suppliers and DSV experts will be at Multimodal this month to answer those important questions concerning supply and demand.

Visitors to Multimodal, the UK’s largest supply chain exhibition, at the NEC, Birmingham, 29 April – 1 May 2014 can pick up the white papers from the DSV stand and talk to the company’s experts face to face about logistics in this vital manufacturing sector.

DSV has also designated Thursday 1 May as ‘Experts Day’ on hand and ready to give advice on warehousing & home delivery, insurance and express shipments. Some of the team will also focus on specific markets: perishables, automotive and

aerospace. To help shippers ensure their supply chains are as efficient and trouble-free as possible, DSV is launching a range of white papers / guides, including one which examines the supply chain for chemicals and shows the significant number of products which fall under the definition of ‘dangerous goods’.

“The automotive sector is always looking for speed of service and reliability. When it comes to production there is no other industry that relies on a strong interaction between humans and the machinery they work with. If spare parts fail to arrive then production stops and at DSV we understand how this works. Our experts can offer detailed advice and solutions for anyone involved in this fast moving business sector,” says Richard Lawford, Sales Director, DSV Air & Sea. “We have an amazing range of experience and expertise, so it makes sense to use this opportunity to offer white papers and answer questions which manufacturers, importers or exporters may have about the transport of their materials or products.”

To take advantage of this exclusive offer, register for a free VIP Pass to Multimodal using the code DSV13. If you would like to make an appointment with a particular expert, email Claire.howe@uk.dsv.com Or just visit the DSV stand when you arrive.
