DSI Awarded AED 450 million Civil Project in KSA

[Dubai, 17 February, 2013] Drake & Scull Construction (DSC), the Civil contracting arm of Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI), a regional market leader in the integrated design, engineering and construction disciplines of Civil Contracting, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), Water and Power, Rail and Oil and Gas signed today a AED 450 million Civil Contract in the Western province in KSA.

Works on the project are due to start immediately with an estimated completion date on December, 2014.

. The company has successfully carried off the transformation from being primarily a UAE based contractor to substantially increasing its footprint in both KSA and Qatar within the span of one year. The emphasis on regional diversification has proved to be highly

strategic as DSC achieved tremendous progress particularly in Saudi Arabia, which is now DSC’s biggest new market by value.

Commenting on the award Saleh Muradweij, Executive Director of DSC said, “DSC has gone through major milestones in market diversification, backed by a competent management and exceptional workforce. Within a span of a couple of years, DSC has become a vital part of DSI PJSC, with prestigious high profile projects to its credit already. We are very delighted with this achievement and we expect to announce more details on the scope of the project in Q2”.
