Donlin, Recano & Company, Inc. (DRC), the leading bankruptcy management consultancy, has received an award from the New York State Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) for its contribution in furthering employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. DRC received the award at VESID’s annual National Disability Employment Awareness Month breakfast in New York City in October.

by Kristin Kvaternik, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor of the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center, DRC joins recipients this year such as NBC Universal. Winners are chosen based on their overall efforts surrounding community outreach; hiring and promoting, providing internship or mentorship opportunities, and accommodating individuals with disabilities.
Elizabeth Ellison, DRC’s Director of Marketing & Communications has served on the Business Advisory Committee for the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine for the past fifteen years. “This is truly a rewarding experience. We take pride in creating an environment where growth is possible for everyone,” said Ms. Ellison. “Our partnership with Rusk has been invaluable in providing us with dedicated DRC team members.”
