Sherman has more than 30 years' experience in civil and environmental infrastructure engineering, planning, design and construction

administration. His work has focused on water supply, wastewater treatment, solid and hazardous waste management, air quality protection, transportation system impact mitigation, capital and operating resource management and more.

In his new role at MWH, Sherman will lead the company's global marketing program and create a focused marketing effort designed to identify, pursue and win strategic opportunities.

"Don's extensive technical and marketing experience makes him a perfect fit for our firm," says Alan Krause, president and chief operating officer for MWH. "Going forward, he will play an integral role in MWH's pursuit of large, strategic opportunities."

Sherman holds a bachelor's degree in meteorology, and bachelor's and master's degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Cornell University. He has worked with a broad array of public and private sector clients and is experienced in program management and organizational development. Most recently, Sherman was the director of national pursuits for HDR, Inc., an architectural, engineering and consulting firm.
