Dolkar Wellness....the company with a heart
2008-11-30 21:21:00 - Dolkar Wellness, a Scottsdale NeoWellness company, is co-sponsoring the Zone of Ahimsa fundraising celebration presented by Emaho Foundation which will take place at the New Vision Spiritual Growth Center in Scottsdale, Arizona on December 6, 2008.

Emaho Foundation, a Scottsdale-based, non-profit Tibetan Buddhist group, will present its annual Zone of Ahimsa fundraising celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2008. Taking place at the New Vision Spiritual Growth Center in Scottsdale, the festivities will commemorate the 1989 awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to the Dalai Lama, the world's best-known Tibetan Buddhist leader and international figurehead in the

cause for peace on our planet. This will be a time for peace-loving people of all faiths, and those outside of any faith tradition, to gather in the name of non-violence, compassion and universal harmony.

Dolkar Wellness, a Scottsdale NeoWellness company, is co-sponsoring this event with other local groups in support of the Ahimsa Celebration. Surrounding the Science of 'Glycobiology' and holistic services, Dolkar Wellness offers a 'NeoWellness' approach to health and longevity-at any age. The Company 'With a Heart' is offering 20% off their Glyconutrient products and will be pledging 50% of the proceeds from their telephone coaching sessions to the Emaho Foundation for the month of December.

Details on the Ahimsa Event:

3:30 to 5:30 PM Peace Empowerment/Blessing.
This will be led by Venerable Za Choeje Rinpoche, Spiritual Director of Emaho Foundation. In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, an empowerment is a ritual which grants the participant permission to practice specific forms of meditation. This very special Peace Empowerment is non-denominational, open to everyone and aimed at awakening latent seeds of compassion in all who take part in this illuminating and inspiring ceremony.

5:30-7:30 PM Tibetan Bazaar
The Emaho Peace Store will offer traditional Tibetan art, handicrafts, gift baskets, jewelry and other items of beauty and devotion for sale-just in time for Holiday gift giving. There will be music, informative presentations, food and fun.

7:30 to 9:30 PM The Wish Fulfilling Jewel Concert
Musical artists from various spiritual traditions offer songs of peace.

Emaho Foundation and Dolkar Wellness are offering small gift baskets which will be on display during the celebration. They include: a book written by Venerable ZaChoeje Rinpoche - THE BACKDOOR TO ENLIGHTENMENT, a CD containing a public talk given by Rinpoche at the Mustang Library, a teaching DVD given by Rinpoche, a mala (bead bracelet), and a holiday candle - all for only $30. Larger gift baskets are also available which will include all the items listed above plus an additional CD and a "secret Tibetan object" as well - for $45.
