DocuSign ® , the leading provider of on-demand electronic signature solutions, today announced an alliance with FBS, creators of the flexmls ® family of Web applications, used by more than 90,000 real estate professionals. Under terms of the agreement, FBS will offer DocuSign electronic signature services to its 11,000 customers using flexmls Forms as part of their flexmls Web solution.

FBS customers will sign

up and access DocuSign by simply inputting their credit card straight from their flexmls application. Once registered, real estate agents can get documents signed electronically, closing deals faster and easier. DocuSign documents are delivered, reviewed, signed and returned online. Realtors simply place familiar yellow Sign Here tabs in the document and send. Clients are guided through a simple signing process and the agent receives an email notification once the document is signed. By integrating DocuSign with flexmls, real estate agents can simplify the real estate contract signing process, save hours of time each week, eliminate signing errors and accelerate deal close rates. Full product integration will be complete before Q1 2010.

A demonstration of this combined solution is available at the FBS Data booth #1225 during the REALTORS ® Annual Conference and Expo 2009 : in San Diego on November 13-16, 2009. Attendees can visit the DocuSign booth #3416 for special event offers, attend a live demo and enter to win a $500 Visa ® gift card or bring and friend and be eligible to win up to $1,000 in Visa gift cards.

“Our goal at FBS is to help agents complete more transactions, and adding DocuSign to our Forms system will further that goal,” said Michael Wurzer, president and CEO of FBS. “DocuSign improves the speed, accuracy and efficiency of getting contracts signed. It was a natural fit for our flexmls Forms product.”

More than 18,000 real estate professionals have used DocuSign to accelerate their business, with thousands more subscribing each month.

Rather than driving across town to get a signature or forcing clients to find a fax machine, real estate professionals use DocuSign to execute agreements with buyers and sellers electronically, eliminating the old process of printing, faxing and waiting for the return fax. As more than 95 percent of home buyers have Internet access, but less than 10 percent have fax service at their home, DocuSign saves agents time and money while providing convenience for their clients. With real estate forms signed in minutes, not days, DocuSign real estate professional subscribers achieve higher sales, increase client satisfaction and maintain a competitive edge. Safe and secure, the DocuSign e-signature process is also easy to use and legally compliant.

“There’s a natural synergy between the flexmls Web applications and DocuSign,” said Dave Thorpe, business development director at DocuSign.

“Both services provide real estate professionals with state of the art technology and online paperless solutions to close more real estate transactions faster. By using DocuSign’s API, FBS has made it possible for its customers to leverage the power of electronic signatures directly from their flexmls user interface and receive ongoing support from FBS for maximum convenience.”
