Dixon Cares the Dixon Group Services LLC’s Charity Foundation has decided to include the “Livestrong Foundation” to its list of donation recipient for the 2013 year. Dixon Cares will be donating $1-$5 for every job every new work request starting on January 2013 until the end of February 2013 along with including Livestrong Foundation to the list of its employee Donation Matching Program.
Once again, the fiscal year is over for Dixon Group Services LLC and as part of their new 2013 financial plan, they have increased the budget for their Dixon Cares Charity Foundation by 15%. Dixon Cares is their charity foundation which has helped many charities in the past such as the recent “5th Annual Raise Your Racket” benefit in Atlanta, helping raise over $10,000 for the Sibley Heart Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
This year, Dixon Cares has decided to add the Livestrong Foundation on their list of charities and benefits to support as part of their drive to help cancer patients and survivors.
When asked about whether the reasons for including the Livestrong Foundation on their donation list had anything
to do with Lance Armstrong and his recent demise in the cycling world, Jairo Murillo the President and General Manager of Dixon Group Services said: -“Dixon Group Services has had a long standing position helping worthy charities and foundations that make a positive difference in the world. Using those principles, we felt that with the bad reputation that the Livestrong Foundation has been dealing with in the past few months, it was OUR duty to support them in continuing the great work they do to help out cancer afflicted people and survivors.”
To help the Livestrong Foundation as soon as possible, Dixon Cares has arranged a special promotion where Dixon Group Services LLC will donate $1 for every painting job and $5 for every other product or service rendered from today until the end of February, to this worthy charity. On top of that, Dixon Group Services will match any donation made by its employees to the Livestrong Foundation. Considering that Dixon Group Services had revenue of $1 million for the 2012 year, they are hoping to raise a nice sum of money for the Livestrong Foundation.
