2013-08-27 17:29:23 - Yorkshire-based IT services company Vital Network Solutions has seen two members of staff gain professional diplomas, with one them moving up from apprentice to employee.
Ben Coltman has qualified as a Microsoft Technology Associate having attained a high-level of proficiency in Windows 7, IT security, server administration and IT networking.
He has now also completed his apprenticeship programme, which saw him study part-time at the specialist IT college QA, in Leeds, and he has now been taken on as an IT support technician.
Meanwhile another IT support technician, Adam Willford, has become a Certified System Professional with WatchGuard, which is one of the world's leading IT security vendors.
The USA company is a manufacturer of network security solutions and appliances such as firewalls, and is Vital's preferred protection system for its clients.
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions, said: "Ben and Adam have worked really hard to
gain these qualifications, so well done to the both of them.
"We are pleased to be able to continue supporting them as their careers develop, and having higher qualified employees is a major asset to us as we continue to grow year-on-year."
