The new TS240 includes high-speed,

non-contact 300 DPI image scan heads that increase the accuracy of check scans, even with folds and wrinkles.
The non-contact design also keeps the lens free from ink and other residue. Onboard scanner diagnostics quickly determines the cause of the most common user issues and enables help-desk personnel to locate and handle the issue in seconds.

With weights ranging from 11 ounces and 18 ounces, the scanners are ideal for desktop use, as well as mobility. Powered by USB connection, the scanners are functional wherever there is a computer, and are sized to fit in a briefcase or vehicle console. Mobile professionals such as real estate agents, contractors and field service personnel are able to accept checks as a form of payment and have instant access to the funds instead of waiting for a trip to their financial institution.
