Diesel Truck Driver Training School can get you started in a local truck driving career. Drivers who work in local industries often work daytime hours that support a normal family life and allow drivers to spend their evenings and weekends enjoying time off with family and friends. The School offers day, evening and weekend Commercial Driver's License courses that prepare students for a career in the trucking industry.


The trucking industry offers a wide range of experiences for drivers, from long haul cross country treks to daily interstate runs to short local daily routes. Many drivers who are family oriented can take advantage of Diesel Truck Driver Training School's Commercial Driver's License (CDL) courses to prepare them for a local

The school offers several programs for prospective truck drivers. The Basic CDL Skills Training Program combines classroom and practical training in key manoeuvres such as pre-trip inspections, coupling and uncoupling and backing up. The main emphasis is on safety and the correct execution of basic techniques.

The Complete Class-A CDL Program covers everything in the Basic Program as well as lessons on hazardous materials, keeping a log book, and special road safety instruction. The actual CDL permit is obtained during class and successful students will be ready to step into an entry level job in the trucking industry upon completion.

For those whose schedule doesn't permit class attendance, Diesel Truck Driver Training School also offers online training to prepare students for all CDL exams, including Class-A, Class-B, Class-C, tankers, hazardous materials, doubles and triples and passenger vehicles. After registering online, students receive a user name and password which lets them log in and begin training on their own time.

Finally, Diesel Truck Driver School offers free classes at various locations throughout the United States. The classes discuss the basics of CDL written exams. There is no obligation and attendees may be eligible for a $200 scholarship to the school's more detailed paid programs. The next free class available at the Sun Prairie campus runs from 9am to 3:30pm on May 5, 2011.
