Under the 'News and Weather' section, i-mode users will now be able to have free and easy access to up to date content provided by Deutsche Welle, including the day's top stories, news, business and politics.

The 'News and Weather' section also includes dedicated pages with content provided by top Romanian and international newswires, including Mediafax, Realitatea, Rompres, Euronews. COSMOTE

is periodically expanding its i-mode content, including by adding new sites on 'News and Weather', one of the most popular and frequently accessed sections of the service.

i-mode currently offers a wide choice of 75 sites allowing users to access information such as latest news, personalize their handsets by downloading ring tones and wall papers, check their daily horoscope, choose a film at the nearest movie theatre, as well as get updates on the latest financial and business headlines or exchange rates.

Furthermore, i-mode users can send and receive e-mails of up to 4,000 characters, attach pictures, sound or video clips and send them to an i-mode enabled handset or any other e-mail address. Other unique features of i-mode include access to jobs and travel sites, classifieds, online shopping and banking, as well as stock market transactions.
