DeriveXperts, the high-performance valuation specialist, is pleased to announce the opening of its London office, so marking the start of a new era in the expansion of DeriveXperts. The main aim is to support the rollout of the company’s valuation platform for OTC products.
This comes ahead of the application of the EMIR (European Market Infrastructure Regulation), which aims to improve transparency and risk management on the over-the-counter derivatives market, and (on 22 nd July 2013) the application of the AIFM directive (Alternative Investment Fund Managers), which aims to regulate the managers of non-UCITS funds.
DeriveXperts’s chairman Francis Cornut explains: “As part of the expansion of our valuation platform for OTC products, London, the European capital of alternative investment fund management, is quite
naturally the key location, particularly in light of the coming into force of EMIR and the AIFM directive. We’ll be able to extend our expertise and our coverage, as well as providing our clients with a view that is both more complete and more specific for their assorted valuation issues.”
The London office will be run from Paris by Francis Cornut and will have a team of six when it opens in January, with the aim of hiring new staff quickly.
Although DeriveXperts has become one of the major players in the valuation of derivative instruments in France, the opening of the London office and the implementation of the valuation platform for OTC products gives the company both a new international dimension and extended expertise that it can offer its current and future clients on a daily basis.
