Delticom, Europe’s leading internet tyre retailer, has been promoted to multiple digit champion. The Hanover-based company continues to set records 15 years after it was founded.

The company also cracked the million mark: More than one million new customers purchased their tyres in the online stores of Delticom last year. For the first time in company history the number of repeat customers increased to more than half a million.

The number of test kilometres has increased from 100 million in 2004 to more than 5.2 billion within 10 years. Users in 20 of the corresponding language countries can use this for free. Once the right tyres have been chosen, they need to be fitted on the vehicle. This can be arranged at the customer’s request by professional service partners cooperating with Delticom. With 1,000 service partners in 2001, customers now have more than 37,000 service partners available worldwide; in Germany there are currently more than 8,800. And the network is still growing. On average, 50 new garages register every day to become a service partner of Delticom online stores – with no obligation to enter a contractual agreement. The service partners also benefit from this. They have the opportunity to get on board with the increasing significance of the internet and growing appreciation of Delticom online stores, allowing more customers to find out about them and their range of services.
