MATT DAMON was sporting odd accessories for the Berlin, Germany premiere of THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM on Tuesday (21Aug07) - acupuncture needles.
The actor was spotted with the needles in his ear, but his local publicity agents later revealed he was simply trying to relieve a pain in his back and neck.
One aide says, "Matt had a terrible spasm in his neck/back and he had to have acupuncture. Those are acupuncture 'needles' in his ear."
