PARIS (AP) - French cyclist Clement Lhotellerie has been fired by his Vacansoleil team after the climbing specialist failed a doping test in April.
Dutch team Vacansoleil says Lhotellerie tested positive for methylhexanamine at Liege-Bastogne-Liege in Belgium on April 26, where he finished 57th.
Vacansoleil said on its Web site Thursday that «the team and Lhotellerie have by agreement decided to part ways.

Methylhexanamine, an active ingredient in nasal congestion medication, is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the International Cycling Union (UCI).
Vacansoleil is not taking part in this year's Tour de France, which begins Saturday.
