“ESG research indicates organisations in Western Europe have a larger datacentre footprint as compared to their North American counterparts and are spending a greater portion of their IT budget on new technology projects/purchases (44% vs. 36% respectively),” said Bob Laliberte, Sr.
Analyst of Networking, Enterprise Strategy Group. “Furthermore, these organisations report that business process improvement is the top justification for IT projects to the business, followed closely by reducing operational expenses. Therefore, innovative solutions, like those delivered by Cumulus Networks and Hammer - that can cost effectively improve a business processes and make IT more responsive - should be well received.”
Through its partnership with Hammer, Cumulus Networks will be able to fulfill demand for Cumulus Linux and bare metal networking to organisations across the region. The companies will also recruit and work with resellers across the region to support local sales.
