www.cristalglobal.com - Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona(R) and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in North America by US $0.05 per pound effective on July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.

"These price increases are required to partially offset the unprecedented raw material, freight and energy

cost increases that we have seen over the last few years, which have driven margins to unacceptable levels," said John Hall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

These increases are in addition to previously announced price increases.

Cristal Global is the world's second-largest producer of titanium dioxide and a leading producer of titanium chemicals. Cristal Global operates eight manufacturing plants in six countries on five continents and employs more than 3,500 people worldwide.
