CresaPartners, North America’s largest corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants, today announced the opening of its new greater Pittsburgh office. Led by Kim Ford, a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with more than twelve years of experience, CresaPartners’ Pittsburgh team is dedicated to helping tenants navigate the complexities of local market conditions,

which defy national trends. Despite a sluggish economy, Pittsburgh’s vacancy rates still hover around 10 percent.

“Pittsburgh continues to be an anomaly in the commercial real estate market,” said Kim Ford, managing principal, CresaPartners Pittsburgh. “Unlike most markets, Pittsburgh’s rental and occupancy rates are on the rise. With little speculative space coming on the market, tenants need to anticipate tighter markets and fewer concessions in the near future. Companies need to evaluate their real estate needs now before vacancy rates contract.”

Ms. Ford has represented such firms as American Express Financial Services Group, The New York Times Magazine Group, CorVel Corporation, Fidelity National, Allegheny Technologies, Inc., The Pittsburgh Magazine, MED3000 and Wabtec Corporation, to name a few.

She is also the founding President of the Pittsburgh Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) chapter, a member of the United States Green Building Council and will serve on CresaPartners Strategic Advisory Board.

In addition to Ford, the Pittsburgh team includes Ted Dillenburg, advisor; Dani Kazienko, senior advisor; Thomas Murrin, finance and administration; and A.J. Pantoni, advisor.

“Kim and her team have extensive local and national client relationships, and have handled transactions in more than 90 markets,” said Bill Goade, CEO, CresaPartners. “We’re confident they’re the right group to best serve Pittsburgh tenants and grow our new office.”

CresaPartners’ greater Pittsburgh office is located in the Spectra One building, 2593 Wexford-Bayne Road, Suite 207, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania.
