Coherex Medical, Inc., a privately held medical device company, today announced its TCT 2008 schedule of events and highlighted two presentations its executives will deliver during the 20th annual Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium held in Washington, D.C. October 12-17, 2008 and produced by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF).
Coherex is sponsoring a breakfast symposium during TCT 2008 entitled "The Science of Headache: A New Collaboration Between Neurology and Cardiology." This symposium will be held from 7 to 8 a.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, October 14 in Room 144C in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. TCT participants are welcome to attend the symposium.
In addition, Coherex executives will deliver two presentations during TCT and also participate in follow-up panel discussions.
Specifically, Dr. Brian Whisenant, chairman and founder of Coherex Medical, will deliver a presentation on Monday, October 13 at 4:59 p.m. (EDT) titled "The Coherex 'Intra-Tunnel' PFO Closure Device: Early Clinical Experiences (Special Emphasis on Migraine Prevention)."
