Coors Light Invites Fans to Experience The Zone at the 2009 Florida Classic

Coors Light will create game excitement at the 30 th Annual Florida Classic, for fans 21 and older, with the Florida Classic FanFare-Coors Light Zone. The Zone, which will be open on game day, November 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., features an interactive EA Sports MADDEN gaming center.

The Florida Classic, in which the Florida A&M Rattlers take on the Bethune-Cookman University Wildcats at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium this Saturday, is the main attraction during an entire weekend of cultural, educational and athletic events beginning Thursday, November 19.

Continuing its support of the HBCU, Coors Light will present funding for scholarships to both schools during the Steve Harvey Meet & Greet, Friday at the Amway Arena. “Coors Light has supported

higher education and the mission of Historically Black Colleges and Universities since 1986,” said Jacqueline Johnson, Multicultural Brand Marketing manager for MillerCoors. “Part of our ongoing commitment to the HBCU community is to help students realize their full potential.”


Fans can start their weekend fun at the Coors Light Classic Kickoff Celebration at Urban Flats in downtown Orlando on Thursday, November 19, at 9:00 p.m. At this event, which is free to the public, Coors Light models will greet and register guests to win a Coors Light Mountain Bike, a 42" plasma television, and tickets to Saturday’s game.
