- Conative Capital Management, LLC has commenced operation of its first hedge fund named CCM Partners Fund, LP.

The fund will make fundamentally driven, privately negotiated investments in the capital structure of smaller (sub-$1 billion) companies faced with special situations. The fund will consider portfolio investments in various stages of a company's life cycle.

Conative Capital founders Christopher Rossman and Louis Rabman will serve as co-managers. Messrs. Rossman and Rabman have been managing private market investments since 1997. In January 2004, the two co-founded Bushido Capital Partners LP and served as chief investment officer and head trader respectively until the sale of their interests in the partnership in 2007. Prior to that time, both worked at L.H. Financial.
