CompTIA :
, the leading provider of vendor neutral certification for technology workers, and Technical Communities, Inc. :
, the company technical organizations who sell to the government rely on for proven go-to-market solutions, announced today they are cooperating to make CompTIA certifications more accessible to federal and state government workers.
The two organizations have signed a government service partnership agreement that authorizes Technical Communities to offer CompTIA certification exams under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules managed by Technical Communities. This means any government agency or department at the federal and state levels that make purchases off a GSA schedule will be able to purchase CompTIA certifications exam vouchers.
“We’ve seen double-digit growth for several of
our certifications among federal government Users in the past few years,” said Terry Erdle, senior vice president, skills certifications, CompTIA. “The agreement with Technical Communities will make it even easier for government customers to access CompTIA certifications.”
“Technical Communities is excited to offer the government high quality vendor-neutral IT certifications at competitive prices,” said Peter Ostrow, president and chief executive officer of Technical Communities.
“We are committed to optimize the GSA buying and selling experience for organizations such as CompTIA.”
Certifications covered by the agreement include CompTIA A+ :
