Community Action Council luncheon commemorates 30 Years of domestic violence services to Dakota County

Lakeville, Minn. On January 22, Community Action Council and the Lakeville Police Department will host the 25th Annual Domestic Abuse Awareness Luncheon at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Luncheon will commemorate the 30 year anniversary of the B. Robert Lewis House. A presentation will look at the history of the Lewis House’s service to women and children who have experienced violence, and the necessary steps to end domestic violence.

An award will be given to a special member of the community who has demonstrated a commitment to improving the community’s response to victims of domestic violence.

The event is open to the community and tickets are $23 per person. To reserve your seat,

B. Robert Lewis House first opened its doors on August 28, 1979 in Eagan.
