- CommonBond Communities: -0- Who: 400 GE volunteers, CommonBond staff, Minnesota Waste Wise What: CommonBond Communities brings sustainable practices to low- income housing residents via unique partnerships with GE, Minnesota Waste Wise and others. In one day, 400 GE volunteers will transform the grounds of Torre de San Miguel Homes, a 142-unit family housing community with 521 multicultural residents in
St. Paul, to stop soil erosion and runoff into the Mississippi River. This event is one element in developing a longer-term strategy to benefit CommonBond's 107 housing communities in the Upper Midwest.
