Citi today announced the appointment of Luigi de Vecchi as Chairman of Continental Europe for Corporate and Investment Banking.

Mr de Vecchi is one of Europe’s most respected investment bankers and strategic advisors and brings impressive depth of experience to his new role. Before joining Citi, he was the Global Co-Head of Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, a post he served in for three years.
Previously, he held a number of senior positions at Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and Kleinwort Benson in Europe, the USA and Brazil. He will be based in Italy.
