ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/12 -- Cinnabon is on a roll. The iconic brand is returning to its roots in Washington to celebrate the opening of its 1,000th bakery this week. In 1985, Cinnabon, Inc. opened the doors of its first bakery in the Sea Tac Mall in Federal Way, a suburb of Seattle, Wash. Now, 27 years later, the company's 1,000th bakery will open in Vancouver, Wash. at Vancouver Mall.
In addition to growing its network of Flagship and Express bakeries to 1,000 in 2012, the Cinnabon® brand has expanded its footprint to cover 48 states and 50 countries this year. Throughout the remainder of 2012 and into 2013, Cinnabon will continue to grow with 200 new domestic and international openings planned.
