HANNOVER, Germany. - March 7, 2013 - Ciber's ProfitBoost-Sales(TM), a newly
developed analytics solution designed to help companies optimize profit through
informed pricing strategies, reached the finals in the SAP HANA partner race, an
SAP-sponsored competition from which winners were recognized at the 2013 CeBIT
conference in Hannover, Germany. The contest drew 26 contenders, and all created
a solution for the SAP HANA® platform.
Ciber ProfitBoost-Sales is the initial offering in Ciber's ProfitBoost(TM)
solution suite. The suite also contains Ciber ProfitBoost-Procurement, which
helps organizations analyze and optimize profits in procurement. Upcoming
modules will support companies in finding additional potential profit gains
through materials management and assembly, as well as manufacturing. Ciber
ProfitBoost-Sales and Ciber ProfitBoost-Procurement are planned to be
available in the second quarter of 2013.
Designed for either on-premises or cloud-based, on-demand delivery, Ciber
ProfitBoost is based on SAP® Predictive Analysis software. It leverages
algorithms in SAP Predictive Analysis with data mining capabilities in SAP HANA
to help organizations identify, explore and, ultimately, realize incremental
potential profit in sales, delivery and procurement. Ciber ProfitBoost also
integrates with the SAP ERP application, allowing companies to leverage their
existing customer, vendor, product, sales and procurement data and apply
predictive analytics to determine pricing adjustments that raise profit without
impacting new costs. The solution gives users an executive summary showing the
potential profits ready to be realized, as well as detailed recommendations
based on actionable reports.
