2012-12-03 16:15:57 - An outstanding contribution throughout the year by staff at Coloplast (www.coloplast.com) in Peterborough is being rewarded with a performance-related bonus worth five per cent of their annual salary.
Performance-related payments are being added to the December pay packets of all eligible employees in chronic care at the city-based medical services company.
This early Christmas bonus bucks the economic trend with most companies, locally or nationally, unlikely to make similar bonus payments to their staff in the current turbulent financial climate.
The reward for the company’s Peterborough-based staff is in recognition of a highly successful year for Coloplast.
The company has exceeded sales targets, surpassing the previous financial year’s results and Coloplast general manager Sue Kernahan said the company has made significant progress during 2011/12.
The group has had its strongest ever year and the UK operation is making a significant contribution to the overall performance of the global Coloplast business.
“The senior management team is delighted with the way we have developed and moved forward. Everyone here has a role to play and everyone knows their contribution is valued and recognised by the company.
“Our staff are driving our economic engine, providing a lifeline to customers and making their lives easier.”
Sue said staff should be proud of their individual and personal contributions towards the group’s continued growth and healthy financial performance.
