2008-08-05 09:10:02 - 'Believe' singer Cher has put her Malibu mansion on the market for a staggering $45 million.

Cher is selling her Malibu mansion for a staggering $45 million. The 'Believe' singer built the three-storey property, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean, in 1992. The 14,000 sq ft house boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a

theatre, gym, tennis court, swimming pool and guest house. Cher used the property to house her collection of English Gothic Revival antiques, which she auctioned for charity in 2006. Following the auction, the 62-year-old singer redecorated the house and it now has a "lighter, beach-resort" style. Cher has bought and sold several properties in recent years. In 2006, the star purchased a Los Angeles condo and also sold a house in Key Biscayne, Florida, for $8.8 million. Cher, who is enjoying a residency at Las Vegas' Caesars Palace, is currently planning her wedding to Tim Medvetz. However, it was recently claimed she can't stop worrying about her son Elijah Blue Allman's mystery illness. A source said: "This should be the best time of Cher's life. She plans to get married by the end of the year. But poor Elijah keeps playing on her mind." Elijah, 32, began exhibiting strange symptoms after returning from a trip to India two years ago. Doctors have not been able to diagnose his illness.
