British rockers KEANE would have split for good if frontman TOM CHAPLIN had refused to check into rehab to treat his drink and drug problems.
The SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW three-piece have adopted a new attitude to life after Chaplin's recovery - they now concentrate solely on their music and shun the rock 'n' roll lifestyle.
Keyboardist TIM RICE-OXLEY says, "This is the best tour we've ever done.
"Tom going to rehab made us remember why we got into this - to make music, because we love it.
"Tom had problems for a long time. When the first single did so well none of us were prepared for it."
