Landau/Pfalz, January 11, 2013 – Effective January 1, 2013, wiora created a separate division within the Wiora GmbH for the Channelplace project. "We have completed the productization phase of the project and the completed cloud solution is a compelling proposition for all organizations with a network of sales partners" explains Volker Wiora, founder and managing director of wiora Software GmbH.
The idea for Channelplace was born within wiora Channel Partners, another division of wiora Software GmbH, which offers many years of experience in the development and expansion of sales organizations in Europe. The different mandates we took on in the past years made us realize the need for effective partner collaboration management software. A thorough market analysis only yielded several partner
relations management systems and resulted in the assembling of a project team for the development of our own cloud-based solution. The first version of the innovative Web platform "Channelplace" has been used for more than a year now at selected customers and has been unanimously recognized and praised for its merits, in particular for its share in improving and standardizing processes. With the launch of version 2.0, Channelplace is a great choice for all organizations that want to support their sales partner network through a professional partner portal.
"In 2012 we focused on getting the product ready for a wider market by creating user interfaces for the customization and configuration of the solution. With Diana Ricken, the Channelplace team could sign up its preferred candidate for sales management. Ricken was previously responsible for marketing and sales at CIS GmbH, a company focused on E-Business and E-Commerce solutions. She is consid-ered a competent all-rounder with in-depth knowledge of the IT industry and Ricken accepted the challenge enthusiastically. "Channelplace has not only convinced me, I am truly excited! Functionality, technology and customizable design combine to a modern, lean system that covers all aspects of the partner relation management lifecycle. I am looking forward to present this Web platform to prospective customers" Ricken explained her decision for Channelplace.
