Johny, a Wall Street hedge fund billionaire is gathering political intelligence from the Washington through a Senator for early warning on political trends and upheavals and the upcoming market and industry affecting legislative decisions.
But after the arrest of the Raj Rajaratnam, the former hedge fund manager and billionaire founder of the Galleon Group, a New York-based hedge fund management firm, Johny is highly worried whether what he is gathering through Senator would become a tragedy for him in a future date.
After Johny read an article in the Newsweek Magazine by a professor at New York University, he becomes interested in ola-leaf reading which is known as Nadi Astrology.
The article reveals, “Rajaratnam had gone to the ola-leaf readers." Ola-leaf readers are
Indian astrologers. They believe that 3,000 years ago, Indian sages decided to write down the horoscopes of every person yet to be born, on a series of palm leaves. A skilled reader can read the leaves to present a complete life story of an individual, including his future.
Rajaratnam's friend took his (and his wife’s) date and time of birth to a leaf reader, who sat before a sheaf of leaves and asked a series of questions to which the friend answered yes or no, as at a deposition. After number of verification, the correct ola leaf was picked out by the astrologer and Rajaratnam’s fortune read. The astrologer chanted into a tape for 45 minutes. The recording said there was a government case against Raj, that he was in the stock business, that he was world-known. That he had to close his business down.
Rajaratnam revealed in the article that he doesn't generally believe in fortune tellers and astrologers. “But the ola leaves were written thousands of years ago. In those days there was no share business. I found it interesting.” The leaf reader also divined that his wife was born in “some Southeast Asian country.” His wife Asha was born in the Philippines.
Johny, after seeking Nadi astrology in India, is getting into a double deal by becoming a CIA’s intelligence officer with a special directive from the President of the United States of America to detect a drug cartel in Southeast Asia, in an exchange for using space and satellite technology to locate an island in the Strait of Malacca where in a tribal community his lover of previous birth is born as a beautiful dancer. According to astrology, when he was a prince and admiral in the Kingdom of Malacca in 1411 A.D., she was a daughter of a Javanese prince and the administrator of Singapura(present day Singapore), a province under the Kingdom of Majapahit based in Java.
It is told in the astrology that their untimely death in the previous birth is passing onto the current birth and by getting married to her only he could be saved from the forthcoming trouble.
After being practiced mantras in the Himalayas under a sage, he is acquiring the power of controlling others’ thoughts and actions even from remotely and the power of teleportation where he could shift him between two locations without crossing the physical space. He is using those powers and the latest satellite technology to locate the island and then rescue her in a deadly battle with billionaire drug lord who is in lust with her.
