Century Bancorp, Inc. (CNBKA), the holding company of Century Bank, was named to the 2010 “Bank Honor Roll” for superior performance by Keefe, Bruyette and Woods (KBW).

Earlier this month, Century Bancorp, Inc. was one of only two banks in Massachusetts to be recognized as “successful navigators through the financial storm” and generating a superior ten-year financial performance track record.

1) Ten years of consistent profitability; 2) 2010 was a peak net earnings year and 3) 2010 exceeded 2009 earnings.
