Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE), a leading, global chemical company, today declared quarterly dividends of $0.04 per share on its common stock and $0.265625 per share on its 4.25% convertible perpetual preferred stock, both payable on August 3, 2009.

The dividends are payable for the period beginning May 1, 2009 and ending on and including July 31, 2009 to owners of record as

of July 15, 2009.
