Nuremberg, 14th February 2012
Growing IT environments require ever better monitoring and greater automation in their daily management. To meet these needs, there is a range of powerful and cost-effective applications available on an open source basis. Combining these with own open source extensions NETWAYS provides tailored open source solutions for network management such as availability and performance monitoring with Icinga and Nagios, service and configuration management, CMDB, hosting and managed services.
At this year´s CeBIT NETWAYS will focus on different enterprise solutions based on open source for modern IT companies. Besides an increasing emphasis on business process monitoring and visualization, NETWAYS will present two new features. The first one is a configuration management database based on MongoDB that provides a yet
unknown flexibility regarding configurations and add-ons. The second one is a new monitoring framework for huge and distributed IT environments based on a messaging-queuing framework.
IT service providers have to challenge the guarantee of high availability and scalability at the lowest possible cost. NETWAYS provides a broad portfolio of software solutions to realize any open source platform or infrastructure: Beginning with the setup of resilient networks and high availability clusters to load balancing, virtualization and storage up to firewalls, optimized databases, VoIP solutions or application servers. In comparison to commercial solutions, great reductions of more than 50 % are reachable with open source software.
Based in Germany and active across Europe, NETWAYS works onsite to tailor robust, cost-effective solutions for customers of all sizes and industries. Over the years these have included Telekom Deutschland, Daimler, German Federal Administration, Banque LBLux and more.
