Become one of the UK’s 1st Multi - Skilled Energy Assessors
The Energy Assessor College provides cutting edge, fast-track, classroom-based commercial, new build and domestic energy assessor training courses.
Energy Assessor College training is provided in response to the European Commission’s Performance of Buildings Directive. This requires a mandatory Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to be produced whenever a building is constructed, sold or rented out.
The EPC is issued after a comprehensive assessment of the heat-loss and C02 emissions of a property (or with New Build - Architect’s drawings & specifications) and can only be carried out by accredited individuals who have undergone commercial, new build or domestic energy assessor training courses through organisations like Energy Assessor College.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of all three sectors and a multi-revenue stream business offering will need to gain qualification (and accreditation) for each sector and become a Multi-Skilled Energy Assessor.
ABBE, the Awarding Body for the Built Environment, has been appointed by the Government to oversee the awarding of the certification for all commercial, new build and domestic energy assessors.
At Energy Assessor College the training courses that we offer lead to the ABBE Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, ABBE Diploma in Non Domestic Energy Assessment and ABBE Diploma in On Construction Domestic Energy Assessment - creating the UK’s first Multi-Skill Energy Assessors.
The Energy Assessor College (a trading brand of Built Environment Skills & Training (BEST) Ltd) has opened ABBE Approved Assessment Centres providing commercial, new build and domestic energy assessor training courses in Reading, Berkshire covering Southern England & South Wales and Birmingham covering Central England & North Wales.
