The NDSS Colorado Drivers Permit course is DMV-approved to cover the 30-hour Driver License for Teen education classroom requirement. There are a few Colorado Drivers Education requirements for Colorado teens to complete before they get their permit. It is necessary to present the DMV with a Completion Certificate from a Driver Education Course (like the one you get from us) within 6 months of the date that you apply for a permit. Then you must complete 6 hours of training behind the wheel with a certified instructor. For teens who are not within 30 miles of an approved school, this requirement can be replaced with 12 hours of behind-the-wheel training with a parent, guardian, or alternate permit supervisor. Teens must also keep a written log that indicates they have completed 50 hours of driving practice with a supervisor, and at least 10 of the hours must be driven at night. Thanks for choosing NDSS!
