CALISTA FLOCKHART ate just a can of ravioli a day when she was a struggling actress in New York City.
The former ALLY McBEAL star's brother sent her a supply to keep her going, and she insists the pasta parcels still trigger hungry memories.
She says, "There was one time when I was in New York and my brother was living in Connecticut.
"We were both really broke and much too proud to call our parents and so he sent me a case of ravioli.
"He was just being nice, and not because I was starving. I only ate one can of ravioli a day."
