British pop outfit GIRLS ALOUD's SARAH HARDING has reportedly quit the sexy girl group - only moments after playing a Wembley arena gig last night (03JUN06).
British newspaper the Daily Star On Sunday claims the finale of the girls' Chemistry tour marked the end for Harding, who is fed up of the band's pop focus and hopes to pursue a solo career.
A source tells the newspaper, "Sarah has been in Girls Aloud since 2002 and thinks it's finally time to make a go of it on her own. She's bored of the saccharine sweet stuff Girls Aloud do and wants a grittier musical direction.
"Her relationship with the other girls is also becoming strained. But Sarah's such a huge part of the band, they fear their time's up."
