Come and join the contingency of the Filipino Apostolate of the Archdiocese of New York and the Chapel of San Lorenzo Ruiz in celebrating the 108th Philippine Independence Day in New York City on June 4, 2006 starting with a Flag-raising Ceremony Independence Day Mass
Philippine Center , 556 Fifth Avenue followed by opening ceremonies to send the parade down Madison Avenue.
The Parade is led by the 2006 Independence Day Parade Grand Marshal Dan de Guzman, with PIDCI President Isagani C. Puertollano, Honorary Adviser Consul General Cecilia R. Rebong, Independence Day Parade Chair Juliet Payabyab, Honored Guests, as spearhead, with contingents of marchers from Filipino-American associations, Marching Bands, floats, open cars, others. Pass the Reviewing Stand on East side of Madison
Avenue, between 29th and 28th streets before turning onto 27th Street for dispersal.
