International first responders gather to discuss current issues, emerging tactics and next generation equipment to operate in CBRN environments.
The consequences of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) emergencies challenge national response capabilities to their maximum extent. Responsibility for an effective first response to mitigate the consequences to lives, infrastructure and the environment remains essential. Enhancing preparedness through a multi-agency and multi-national approach is critical.
Technology continues to develop in the CBRN arena and is providing the ability to improve reaction times, standardise casualty treatment, enhance First Responder survivability and why 2014 promises to be an exciting year for the CBRN first responder community.
Over the 11th and 12th of
February next year, a dedicated meeting will take place that will bring together the CBRN stakeholders from around the world.
The event, CBRN: FIRST RESPONSE 2014 is already attracting attention from senior military and civilian CBRN authorities
The delegation will be discussing a wealth of topics including Fukushima, casualty treatment, threat evaluation, future equipment, Syria, scene management and material disposal. Industry will also be playing a major role in the event with demonstrations and displays of the very latest innovations available.
CBRN: FIRST RESPONSE 2014, organised by The Development Network, a well-known UK based conference organiser, is being viewed as a critical meeting point for each and every stakeholder in the CBRN arena.
