CBI Recovers CD in Ishrat Case (BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi)

2014-03-18 12:03:31 - Bringing fresh trouble to the BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi, the CBI has reportedly recovered a CD showing the discussion between top faces of the Gujarat government and police officers to thwart the investigation into the Ishrat Jahan case.

JPC Times News :

The conversations between the leaders and policemen in the CD are of November 2011. The interaction took place just a day before a SIT appointed by the Gujarat High Court was to submit its report in the fake encounter case.

The details of meetings between Modi’s private secretary GC Murmu, A.K.Sharma and a few other leaders and top cops are recorded in the CD.

The CD was handed over to the CBI by the chargesheeted cop G.L.Singhal.

It carries 70 minutes of audio. The investigating agency is likely to summon all the accused for interrogation.

Murmu and Sharma have also been questioned earlier over the matter in September last year.
