Sunday December 20, 2009, Canadian singer, ZACH, showed the true spirit of the holiday season by doing what he does best, singing and performing his music.



Hearing of a local teenage girl, who was on the 'list' at The Children's Wish Foundation for her dream of getting a guitar, ZACH took it upon himself to create an event at Park Theatre. Rehearsing the show, hiring a DJ, securing a back-up band, selling tickets, procuring door prizes and then finally performing his music, this young man really took the concept of "Play (sic) It Forward" to heart, and over 300 people on a freezing Canadian winter night attended in support of this cause.



"It was a very rewarding experience for me to help another teenager in the community fulfill her wish" ZACH explained. "This demonstrates my belief in the concept "kids helping kids" as the evening was called "Play It Forward". I was honoured to be able to use my musical talents to raise funds for a wonderful charity, Children's Wish Foundation. I helped make a difference in someone's life and that is the meaning of the "power of one".



ZACH is currently in pre-production for his first single release in early spring and is represented by Canadian record label, Breakin' Records. who will be promoting this artist in MIDEM in Cannes, France in January 2010. He is also making plans to appear and perform for Canadian Music Week in March 2010 in Toronto, Ontario.



The family of the anonymous recipient of ZACH's efforts were grateful for this young man's initiative to secure their daughter's dream of owning her own guitar. "We are touched by ZACH's commitment, energy, and talent. ZACH's initiative has truly impacted our daughter's life. We can't thank him enough for creating awareness for the Children's Wish Foundation and raising over $2500.00 dollars to grant wishes.
