2010-03-13 00:00:03 - A Canadian right of Spring includes a visit to the Sugar Bush for a taste of the fresh maple syrup over hot pancakes with Canadian bacon or sausage. Ontario Travel destinations are celebrating the liquid gold from the Sugar Maple Trees.

Maple Sap is “Tapped” and “Maple Syrup Fever” Begins

The Minister of Tourism and Culture for Ontario, the Honourable Michael Chan, is encouraging Ontario residents to stay and play in Ontario during March break. One of the main reasons to stay home (in Ontario) is the “Ontario Liquid Gold” that is starting to flow in Sugar Maple trees. As Olympic Gold medals gave us reason to celebrate, the maple harvest season is another. One of the great Canadian traditions continues during the March April months.
