(NASDAQ:CA), the world's leading independent IT management software company, today announced the preliminary results of stockholder voting at its 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. The Company reported that approximately 92 percent of the outstanding shares were represented either in person or by proxy at the meeting.

CA stockholders voted to elect all ten members of the Board of Directors for one-year terms. CA's preliminary results indicate that all of the directors received between approximately 93 and 98 percent of the votes cast. Stockholders also ratified the appointment of KPMG LLP as the Company's independent registered public accountants for the fiscal

year ending March 31, 2009.
