Today the company has released www.mobith.12buzz.com the Thai Mobile Portal and www.mobicn.12buzz.com the Chinese Mobile Portal. Buzz expects its Email Anywhere service will be a big hit in both Thai and Chinese languages where mobile Internet use is

surging.

Mobile phone sales in the Asian region (excluding Japan) will reach over 400 million this year, buoyed by growing markets in India and China.


These two countries alone are predicted to account for at least 60 percent of handsets delivered in 2008. Last year, mobile phone shipments in the region reached 366 million, according to IDC


Mobile penetration rates in India and China--20 percent and 40 percent, respectively--still offer plenty of room for the market to expand.

Nokia remains the dominant vendor, cornering more than 60 percent of the Asia Pacific handset market, followed by Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG, according to IDC.
