2013-02-14 13:24:45 - Amdocs to assume responsibility for Mobiltel’sdata center, disaster recovery and business support systems operations across mobile, broadband and IPTV lines of business

PuneFebruary 14, 2013Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), the leading provider of customer experience systemsand services, today announced the signing of a five-year managed servicescontract with Mobiltel (commonly known as Mtel). One of the largest affiliates in the Telekom Austria Group, Mtel is Bulgaria’s largest mobile service provider, and also provides fixed, broadband Internet and IPTV services. Mtel has awarded Amdocs responsibility over a wide range of IT operations, including data center, disaster recovery and business support systems (BSS) operations,acrossall lines of business. Amdocs will also deliver additional managed services, including application development, integration management, testing and hardware procurement and maintenance.
Amdocs’ rating, billing, ordering, customer managementand product catalog systems have been implemented at Mtel since 2007. Under the new agreement, Amdocs will

support Mtel’s Amdocs systems as well as 17 otherlegacy and third-party systems. As a result, Mtel will be able to improve operational and business performance levels in several areas, including system and service availability, problem resolution, time to market for new services and bill transparency, and reduce the number of customer calls to its call centers.
