Chennai: May 11, 2009 - BroVis Wireless Networks, a global developer and manufacturer of Next Generation Broadband Wireless Access Systems announced today the launch of its unique Multimedia Wireless Delivery Platform - MXP (Multimedia Extended Range Platform) along with its own IEEE 802.11n based Air Station 1500 series and Air Client 150 series of products. Multimedia Content Delivery Management on the back-end side and comprehensive front-end Wireless Access Management along with cost-effective Point-to-Point (PTP), Point-to-Multipoint (PMP) and Hotspot wireless solutions in a fully integrated manner. This advanced solution caters to Enterprises, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Telcos, Hospitality Providers, Large Campus Operators and Multi-Service Operators. Both AS1500 and AC150 product series integrate as a seamless solution with BroVis MXP platform that includes Centralized Controller, Advanced Security, Subscriber Management, Bandwidth Management, Billing Management and Advanced Multimedia Delivery Management.


Air Station 1500 (AS1500) base-station series is aimed at providing high speed broadband access upto 300Mbps for outdoor applications and also long range backhaul connectivity using specialized antenna. The AS1500 comes with advanced MIMO antenna techniques (2x2 and 3x3) and can be centrally managed via BroVis MXP comprising of all BroVis Advanced Access Manager (BAAM) functionality along with state-of–the-art Content Delivery Management. AS1500 provides a unified network for triple play services like voice, data and video. It offers an ideal platform for services like video-on-demand and many interactive multimedia services. It can also serve as a solid and cost-effective platform for interactive services and e-learning applications in the rural arena. AS1500 serves the needs of Enterprise Wireless Distribution, Last Mile Connectivity, Campus WiFi, Hospitality WiFi, and Content Delivery Networks.


Air Client 150 (AC150) product line is focused on providing high capacity outdoor backhaul links and high speed subscriber connectivity solutions. AC150 provides short range point-point (SRPP) and mid range point-point (MRPP) backhaul connectivity and completely embraces the latest IEEE 802.11n Standards. The AC150 comes with 2x2 or 3x3 MIMO technology and supports higher data rates over longer distances. The AC150 series provide advanced security features and supports 802.3af POE standards. It also supports dual band frequencies. The AC150 series provides the most stable and robust carrier class backhaul link that meet TELCO standards. The AC150 is tuned to multimedia applications and supports superior QoS standards that can deliver rich media content. AC150 caters to services like wireless video surveillance, metro wide surveillance, tele-medicine, rural connectivity and high capacity VPN services aimed at enterprises
