TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/18/09 -- Breakwater Resources Ltd. (TSX: BWR)(TSX: BWR.WT.A) Production employees returned underground yesterday and the mill restarted this morning. The Myra Falls mine site is still experiencing high levels of precipitation, currently in the form of snow, requiring careful ongoing monitoring and management. As always the safety of our employees is our paramount concern and production decisions will be made on a day-to-day basis until the high levels of precipitation abate.



Breakwater is a mining, exploration and development company which produces and sells zinc, copper, lead and gold concentrates to customers around the world. The Company's concentrate production is derived from three mines in Chile, Honduras and Canada. Breakwater's Langlois mine in Quebec, Canada is currently on temporary care and maintenance.
