- Books-A-Million, Inc. (NASDAQ:BAMM) today announced that it will provide an online Web simulcast of its fiscal 2009 second quarter conference call on Thursday, August 21, 2008. The Company will release results for the second quarter ended August 2, 2008, that afternoon.

The live broadcast of Books-A-Million's conference call will begin at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (4:00 p.m. Central

Time) on August 21, 2008. The link to this event may be found at the Company's website: www.booksamillioninc.com.

If you are unable to participate at that time, an online replay will be available two hours after the call ends and will continue through September 21, 2008.
